Amarone, Aberdeen

Union Street, a large clothes shop, was where myself, Mario and Tony and Mark Brunges found ourselves one wet Tuesday Morning. This is it Tony said. Mario and Tony have an eye for new frontiers and units no one else can see, it was a cloths shop with a low ceiling basement, pipes everywhere. Off we go again, Mark provided the scheme based on Edinburgh Amarone, Mario and Tony made sure it worked, and we got the team together to make it happen. Union Street, top end was not Union SQ in Aberdeen. However the shoes were all thrown out the, the ceilings ripped down to form a large Aitrium and the basement is filled with a superb kitchen.

The restaurant is now a landmark on Union street, the atmosphere and chatter at weekends is a real buzz.
